Savannah Turns Six Months Sep 20
Well, today marks Savannah's 6 month birthday! It truly is such a blessing watching her grow. This week has been quite a funny week~all of the sudden, Savannah likes her tummy! I went into her room on Monday morning and, as I peered into her bed, I was shocked to see the back of her head instead of her smiley face looking up at me. This is the girl, who, every time we try to have "tummy time", she cries and cries after the first minute. That morning during our tummy time, she was totally fine and even rolled over without putting up a fight. This tummy revolution has stayed strong throughout the week.
Just a few 6 month facts about Savannah Grace:
~Favorite Toy: this little pink fish that attaches to her bathtub
~Favorite Food: bananas (and I must write that as we eat bananas, I sing to that song by Gwen Stefani as she eats...just the "B-A-N-A-N-A-S, here's bananas,B-A-N-A-N-A-S"...she very much likes me to sing that to her. I don't know the other lyrics, nor do I know if they are nice or not?)
~Favorite Word: "hey" (okay, I know she really doesn't say that, but it surely sounds like it at times)
~Favorite Pastime: playing in her Exersaucer; just last week, sitting up by herself (surrounded by pillows, just in case) and putting toys in her mouth; lying in her bed talking to herself
~Favorite Song: The Wheels on the bus go round and round
~What makes Savannah the saddest: when someone "talks" at the TV while watching football...usually we are excitedly "talking" but she does not like it when voices are raised :*(
~What makes Savannah the laugh the most: when Mommy blows on her tummy before bathtime
~Our favorite thing Savannah does: gives us kisses...we say "Give me a kiss" and she opens her mouth wide and "kisses" our cheeks

I feel like I have missed so much of her new tricks! And it has only been like 2 weeks since I saw her! Way to go Savannah!

Love the 6 month pic! She is getting to be such a big girl! Drew would make a sound that sounded like "hey" around that time, too! It's so sweet watching their efforts to communicate, no matter what they are saying. This is a really fun stage...get ready for lots of changes!

She is so sweet! I got to meet her last week, I saw Mrs. Boeving when she picked her up from the nursery. The first year is so fun, they do new things almost every week! :)
So adorable! Happy 6 months Savannah! I especially love the B-A-N-A-N-A-S song. I'll have to remember that for when MCM starts solids. Gwen Stefani makes eating fun!
