Battle Wounds Mar 09
The little crawler has officially become a walker, with wounds to prove it. I guess it was about a month ago that Savannah took her first steps (I'm way behind on blogging by the way) and now she walks around the whole house, falling along the way quite a bit. The bump you see looks really bad, doesn't it? It went down a lot after an hour or so.
Another bit of exciting news: we joined the Memphis Zoo! And, I must say this is not the same zoo you visited as a kid! Savannah isn't quite the pro walker yet to be out of the stroller so she and Lily had to stay in the strollers while Marianna and Maggie got to walk the zoo (although the "big" girls liked to stroll at times too!). Savannah and Lily, your time will come soon enough! We actually went last Saturday when it was sunny and 65 degrees. I'm sad to say, we missed the snow this weekend due to a visit to grand-grandparents. That's why I don't have any snow pictures like most Memphians do on their blogs.

yey for savannah!! she looks like she is having a blast at the zoo. wish we could go with you:( sad about the snow day you missed! i sure was looking forward to seeing pics! love you!
poor savannah!! what a sad bump. walking is such a hard transition, but it also makes the world a lot more fun than before!
