I was tagged by Kacie to do this, so here it goes, though I don't know I'll reach 100...
- My favorite list of 100 things I've read have been by Amanda and Kacie.
- I almost wet my pants both times as I was reading.
- My dad used to sing Good Night, Sweetheart to my sister and me every night.
- I think he did this until I was a teenager or at least until I finally got the nerve to sleep by myself.
- I slept with my sister until around age 12 or 13.
- My dad would also dance in the aisles of the grocery store and never cared how many people were around.
- We told him to stop because he was embaressing us, but we really loved it.
- When I was a senior in high school, my friend Mary Faith and I spent our 18th birthdays downtown and spent the night at the Peabody.
- As we was driving to dinner that night, we kept wondering why everyone was honking at us.
- I think for a second we thought it was because we looked so good.
- Then we realized I was driving down a one way street the wrong way.
- My worst day in jr. high was when I opened my locker right as Laura Young was raising her head.
- I looked at her and blood was gushing, or at least that is my memory.
- I think she had to have stiches.
- My most embaressing moment in high school was when, as a freshman cheerleader, I was on the top of a pyramid and it fell.
- I landed almost in the laps of what I believed to be then really cute Senior boys.
- Mary Faith and I cried in the bathroom after the pep rally.
- I, unlike the majority of people who attend college, did not love my college experience.
- I just didn't really get into it and thought all the things to get into at Mississippi College were dumb.
- I'm sorry if I offended those of you who loved Mississippi College.
- I did, however, love my college years, if that makes sense.
- Not because of the college, but because my husband and I started dating my sophmore year.
- On our second date, I could not stop laughing.
- He later told me he was not sure about me after that date.
- Thanks for sticking with me, honey.
- I'm not sure why I could not stop laughing but I think it has to do partly because I was so excited and more so to do with the fact that Aaron was and still is the funniest person in the world to me.
- After we dated a year, he went to England for about 6 weeks.
- We corresponded mostly through letters.
- That had been my dream: to correspond with a boyfriend through letters.
- It was absolutely wonderful.
- I always wanted to be a back-up singer.
- Then I finally realized, I could not sing and it was not going to happen.
- So, I started to want to marry a guy from a band.
- This dream too was fulfilled. Ever heard of Eleventh Hour....the Chi?
- How about 704B?
- In high school, I jumped on the top of the Dryve Cleaners building on Poplar Avenue.
- Part of its roof is made of trampoline-like material.
- That was probably the craziest thing I have ever done.
- Thinking back, I think we could have gotten arrested for that.
- I love to clean the house.
- I also like to cook.
- And to bake.
- I'm learning to sew.
- I think I may eventually be a pretty good sewer, but it's going to take a lot of work.
- I'm a perfectionist in many ways.
- That's why it's hard for me to sew with Angie and Julie because they're at the point where they know how to do it without directions.
- They try to tell me how but I get incredibly confused.
- I need directions verbally as well as written down.
- I don't like the serger~call me crazy, Angie and Julie~and much prefer a classic sewing machine.
- Another thing that excites me is to check things off of a list.
- One summer when I was stuck in Clinton, MS taking summer school and Aaron was in Memphis, Aaron made me write out a list of things I could do when I got bored.
- He wrote that list on the chalkboard he got me for Christmas.
- That was my favorite gift ever and I still have it and use it every day.
- #24, #49, and #50 are just a few ways I realized that Aaron was the one for me.
- I have a severe sweet tooth.
- Aaron and I, in our first year of marriage, made slice and bake cookies 4-5 times during a week.
- The most I ever ate in one sitting was eight.
- I gained 60 pounds while pregnant with Savannah.
- I'm trying to not do that now.
- I've gained 20 this pregnancy.
- I'm proud of myself for that even though it may sound like a lot to some.
- I think at this point in my pregnancy (27 weeks) with Savannah I had gained at least 35 pounds.
- I love being pregnant.
- I even loved labor.
- Really. I know...I'm weird.
- It was just so exciting to me...both pregnancy and labor.
- I looked at Aaron when Savannah was about 5 weeks old and would not sleep one night and said: "I can't do this anymore!"
- He looked at me and laughed, in a sweet way.
- I then began to laugh.
- From #65, you can surmise that I'm very dramatic.
- And highly sensitive too.
- I've passed both of these character qualities onto Savannah, poor thing.
- I became a Christian when I was 16 years old.
- Also, when I was 16 years old, I totalled my car in front of my high school.
- My best friends growing up were twins.
- Because of that, I always wanted twins.
- Having girls so close together is, I believe, the closest thing I'll get to having twins unless we adopt twins.
- The time I remember laughing the hardest with my friends is when Kacie, Jennifer, and I camped out at Shelby Farms.
- Only they will appreciate this: "We want to go this way...."
- This past Saturday night I laughed almost as hard when I played a game at a baby shower and Julie Jerkins Foreman had to put a diaper made of toilet paper on me.
- That sounds really weird, I know.
- In jr. high, I thought Birkenstocks were a type of socks.
- As a 5-year old, I thought I had been kidnapped and though I believed I had been returned back to my rightful family, I believed my parents were lying to me about it when they told me that I had never been kidnapped.
- I had 5 jobs in approximately 4 years.
- My current position with Concord Academy is the longest time I've ever stayed at the same job (going on 2 years).
- I love my job and it's nice that it's only two days a week.
- I went back after I had Savannah because I thought I would miss teaching if I stayed at home full time.
- I love also that I'm not going back next year.
- I'll miss the school and the kids, but I love being at home and doing wife and mom stuff all day long.
- I'm glad though that I worked this year just to get it settled in my heart that I did want to stay at home full time.
- On several occassions, people have told me that I come across as someone not very friendly just by my facial expressions and the way I carry myself.
- Although I sort of see what they are saying, I also believe I'm a very friendly person.
- So, if people say this to me now, I don't mind so much like I did when people said that to me in earlier years.
- Although I'm a neat freak, I am not very organized.
- I always thought I was until about 3 years into our marriage and Aaron revealed to me I was not.
- One of our current cars is the car that my parents bought me as a senior in high school.
- It's been a faithful car, obviously.
- But I'm very ready to get another one.
- Aaron says not until it breaks down (I don't drive it, he does, so I really should not care that much).
- I love taking naps and am going to do so right now.
I tag Mary Faith and Julie! Oh, wait~Julie, you don't have a blog...get one and then the first entry you do can be 100 things!

laurin, i learned so much about you! i need to get some details on some of those stories you have! as for a blog of my own...i have nothing to say!
The thing that you forgot is that Micah Moore pushed the back of my head at that exact moment. Do you not remember that? I was mad at him because he was making fun of my mustard colored tights and calling me "Blossom" and so i said something sarcastic to him (big shock) and he pushed the back of my head at the exact moment you opened the locker. and i did have stitches, and do still have a scar. i have to fill in my eyebrow where the scar is. but i blame micah moore, not you.
okay, so i totally forgot that part of the story but i do remember something about your tights...and i even remember them! hah! that makes me feel better that you don't blame me.
this made me love you all the more!! we are so compatible!
Ok, that's what I'm talking about!!
okay, Laurin, i will try to work on my list this week! i loved thinking about these memories all over again!
