Bye-Bye Brooke Apr 30
So my nervousness for Brooke was well deserved. Bye-bye, Brooke. So sad to see her go, but I think she needs to go home to her hubby. Her breakdown at the end was just awful to watch.
One more quick thought on Paula~If you've read my last Idol post and comments, I may have seemed a bit harsh. I wanted to say, I love Paula. As Aaron put it tonight as she was hilariously dancing through the song of that British pop-star (never heard of the girl by the way): "Paula is not scared to be herself..." it made me think how much I appreciate her even though she may seem a bit off. (Angie, you put it best in your comment's last paragraph.) And then I just heard that David Letterman is doing a top 10 tonight about why she needs to go on vaction and that made me sad. David Letterman, you need to go on a vacation!

Oh, I was so sad to see Brooke go, but I think she will still have a career. I would even buy her cd, and I never buy cds.
I just wanted to say that I too like Paula. I think she's very cute and sweet, and if her behavior is due to an illness or medication that she's taking for an illness, then I feel really bad for her. I really hope she can get it together.
One thing I did read regarding her goof on Tuesday was that the judges often take notes during the contestants' rehearsals. That makes her mistake more understandable. If she had already taken notes during Jason's warm-up, then she would know what was coming, and her feedback was genuine. So it's not like she was totally out there. But her dancing does seem a little odd to me sometimes.
Anyway, I think we will have an all-guy top three.
Well, I do believe that Paula handled herself very well last night considering there was so much talk about her actions the night before. I didn't realize that so many people had responded to that. Before I make accusations, I need to stop and think that this person is human just like me, and we all have struggles that we face. Instead of criticizing, I should be praying for her b/c I know that's what I would want others to do for me.
