Art and Dirt May 05
So I decided to get adventurous with Savannah this morning and tried fingerpainting. Don't let the pictures fool you...the first ones (I thought the black t-shirt I adorned her with made her look very "artsy") were taken before the endeavor, and though I could not take any during the painting because I was too much in a mess, the one of her standing inside the house tells the real story (despite the smile)~she cried all the way through the painting...and got so upset she would not come back out to the porch for fear that I would succomb her to being artsy again.
Her pail of dirt beckoned her back outside though~much more up her ally. I'm still hoping she has a bit of artistry in her from her daddy.

Laurin, those first three pictures of Savannah in her black "artistic cape" made me think of some captions for them:
For the first picture:
"Sigh, being an artistic genius is such a burden"
For the second:
"Out! Out! Everybody Out! I'm trying to concentrate!
For the third:
"Hmmmm, the texture of these finger paints is quite interesting....
Laurin, I think that first picture is so good. You really have a photographer's eye.
