How? May 07
How? How can I be so wrong every time? I guess it's because I have no singing ability whatsoever and really know nothing about singing quite obviously. Emily and Jack's Mommy, you girls are so good!
Just a few thoughts though: As Syesha was standing up there tonight, I did think: "She is the cutest girl...so classy. She needs to do something with that if this singing thing does not work out..." I just keep on liking her better and better every week. And I must add (don't think I'm too obsessed): Paula again looked so nice tonight and carried herself so well. Maybe last week's blunder helped her in some weird way.

Well, Laurin, maybe if you stopped focusing so much on Paula and concentrated on the singing....hahaha, I'm just kiddin'! =) I think Syesha is already a model, so I'm sure she can always go back to that, I bet she'll end-up doing Broadway though with as good as she did on that week. Good riddance to Jason!
First of all, you are too a good singer! I have sat next to you at church, so I have heard so myself.
Secondly, I felt really bad for Jason. The poor guy just is not the sharpest tool in the shed, bless his heart. He's got such a happy face, though, and I did like a bunch of the songs that he sang. I did think he was kind of relieved to go home, though.
And thirdly, does anyone else think that David A. (who is my favorite, btw) sounds like Kermit the Frog when he is speaking? I hadn't noticed it until last night, but I got really tickled thinking about it once it hit me.
brandi i agree with you, david does sound like kermit! but i disagree in that i hope he doesnt win. i am not a fan of his. to be honest, i am not really a fan of anyone thats left. i guess i hope syesha wins, but i dont think she can. but i have to say i was so thrilled to see jason go home. i feel the same as you that he looks nice and happy, but he isnt "the sharpest tool in the shed"! and i felt like he really didnt care about being there. it was way beyond him. jeff thinks he acted like that bc he was always so nervous. maybe thats it, but i am glad he is gone. it made me nervous to watch him!
i think i've seen idol 4x this year, so consider me "out of the loop" for the most part. i do, however, remember david a. and the last time i saw him was tuesday night, i think. i must say he is, in my opinion, the most talented, most trained vocally. syesha has a smooth sound and, from what i have heard, her tone doesn't waiver. i guess all i'm really looking for in these people is a trained voice, solid intonation, and a stage presence that's easy to receive. i've yet to connect with david cook in any way at all.
i'll try to be a better viewer so i can be familiar with more than just a few contestants!
All those idols have a tough row to hoe. Clarkson's my girl. You gotta do a lot to live up to her.
Also, Laurin how much longer til the baby? Any names?
