Not Good Enough May 13
While I know my opinions about American Idol are highly skewed because I know nothing about singing, I really do not feel like any of the three did well enough tonight to be in the top 3. They just weren't good enough compared to past American Idol contestants at this point. I'll still break it down though...
- David A.: He just did not excite me at all. The only thing that I think is going for him is that he's got young girls who are crazy about him and that's why he's made it this far.
- Syesha: Okay, I really, really like her, not so much for her singing ability as much as for her look and her dramatic qualities. She's just born to be on Broadway I do believe and she was the only one out of the three who was at least interesting to watch even if a bit "cabaret".
- David C.: I'll admit it-I think he's the best out of the three (though that is not saying much).
Overall, I have NO idea who's going home...I would not even be surprised if we say bye-bye to David A.

i am so glad you gave a recap. i missed the show tonight. i will most likely miss is tomorrow night too so will check in with you to see what happened!
i agree.. it was boring. but thinking back, i think this night is usually boring. i don't like watching the contestants sing three songs, especially that terrible one the producers always pick. it's just more exciting when more people are in it to mix it up.
that being said, regardless of talent and last night's performances, i would be shocked if syesha didn't go home. i just don't think she has enough long term fan support to keep her in any longer. i think jason gave her the extra week wrapped up with a box with his horrible night last week, and now I think she's at the end of the road.
we shall see...
