Aubrey is here! After a long day of labor~long but thankfully not painful~Aubrey arrived at 5:54 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon weighing 7 lbs. 13 oz. and 20 inches long. She is indeed precious and a sweet gift from our God.
Once she was ready to meet us, she was quickly ready, taking less than 3 minutes from the time the doctor said: "Push!" until he said: "Here she is!". And, when meeting her little sister, Savannah did really well: gave her a kiss and then began to walk around the hospital room acting like a little monkey. She did want to hold her but once we put her in her arms, she quickly decided that was enough.
I do think the girls look like sisters, especially as newborns...the first picture is of Aubrey and the next one is of Savannah. And just for the record, I do plan to give in tomorrow to the newborn novelty of the coming home outfit...I've decided I just would not be a true Southern mom if I do not.

I'm so excited for you guys. Like Robin I have been checking the blog to see her. I loved the picture of your mom. I know she is so thrilled!!! She does look just like Savannah. I wish I was there to see her in person. Keep posting pictures.
